Where i work

Last post for this evening - I just though i would show you where i work! Living at uni can be a bit messy - and its your typical student flat but i have tried to be a little organised this year.. this summer i properly sorted my fabric stash, and got all my jewellery supplies under control! My mum bought me a new sewing machine which really helped me get inspired again with the sewing.. Its amazing! Will post a picture of it soon :)

My current fabric stash which grows with every student finance payment..

A few notions on my machine.. What do the lines mean.. nobody knows! No seriously.. i cant even remember..

Personalised Tote Bags

Another new product - Personalised tote bags

I have wanted to start making these for quite a while. I love them when i see them about but i cant help thinking they could be made to such a higher quality, with beautiful cottons, a lining, good quality straps and sewn on motifs, rather than the mass produced, printed, worn out and screw-up-able bags you see over peoples shoulders. This is made to be more of a gift, more of an actual bag.

They are made from 100% high quality cottons. Mine was made using the polka dot fabric in Purple. For choices of fabrics and more information about the product, please click the Textiles link in the Products tab on the right hand side to be taken to a dedicated page!

These are £15.00 each, and 2 for £25.00

To place an order, you can email me at LouiseMarieCrafts@hotmail.co.uk or find me on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/LouiseMarieCrafts and messege me through there :)

Thanks for looking!

'L' Tote bag - available in many fonts and colours.

The lining of the bag matches the initial too.

Hair Bows!

New Product - Who doesnt love hair bows?!

These were made over the weekend after matching up fabrics & components including leather, lace & studs. Each bow is carefully handmade and all stitched together. The only glue in the whole construction is Textiles glue to make sure that the leather is in place, as this would have been to challenging to machine stitch!

I had a lot of fun making these so i hope you have fun wearing these too!

They have a fully operational wide press clip on the reverse, as shown. These are great even in thick hair like mine, but i would recommend you have two little grippy clips, just to keep it in place!

They are currently for sale on my Folksy shop and will be shipping well in time for Christmas! These make great gifts - Secret santa, stocking filler.. Louise Marie Crafts' Hair Bows are perfect for any accessory lover :)
